super smoothie bowl
I love to supercharge my mornings with protein and greens, and a smoothie bowl is one of the easiest ways to do this! I mean, who doesn't love a creamy bowl of goodness that's as tempting and delicious as a dessert? They don't call it "bressert" for nothing! :D
I recently discovered moringa, which is all-natural, and one of the more nutrient-dense plants on the planet. I only need 1-2 teaspoons a day to optimize my iron, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, protein, potassium intake as well as and other health-boosting nutrients.
ingredients
1/2 - 3/4 cup coconut milk, full fat
1/2 avocado
2 tsp moringa powder
1/2 cup baby spinach
1/2 cup baby kale
1/4 cup frozen mango
1 Tbsp flax oil
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2" stem fresh turmeric
1/2" stem fresh gingerroot
TOPPINGS: Your choice of fresh, frozen, or dried fruits, any unsalted nuts and seeds
method
Blend until smooth. Add 1-2 spoonfuls of water if necessary to blend smoothly. Pour into a serving bowl and top with fresh and dried fruits, nuts and seed
